Measure and Linearize a Non-Linear Sensor Output
The D2000 series of intelligent analog-to-computer interfaces are designed
to solve many difficult interfacing problems that cannot be performed with
existing standard interfaces. The D2000 series may be programmed to
create custom transfer functions to interface to non-standard sensors or to
scale the outputs to any engineering units desired.
The D2000 series is an enhancement of the D1000 series of standard
interfaces. The D2000 series is similar to the D1000 series in every respect
except that the D2000 interfaces allow custom input-to-output transfer
functions. As shipped from the factory, the D2000 modules operate in the
same manner as their D1000 counterparts. Read more...

DGH Connectivity and OPC Servers
DGH has selected KEPServerEX as the Modbus OPC server to best connect data into virtually any process control program or MS-Windows application that supports either OPC or DDE. The DGH Modbus RTU compatible modules have been successfully tested with KEPServerEX and sample configuration files are available for download to shorten the configuration process.
KEPServerEX is designed to allow quick communication setup to your control systems using a wide range of available "plug-in" device drivers and components. With support for the Modbus RTU protocol and over 130 others. getting data to your client software is easy. KEPServerEx provides a common user interface for all drivers, providing consistent access from your client applications via Certified OPC or native interfaces. Learn more now...

Using D6000 Series Modules with Labview
The DGH D6000 series seven channel analog and digital I/O modules are compatible with Labview data acquisition software. The modules utilize the Modbus RTU serial protocol for communications and easily interface with the Modbus device driver within Labview.
Labview uses Virtual Instruments to communicate with data acqusition hardware. Sample Virtual Instruments are available for use with our D6000 series modules. Each virtual instrument is functional, contains a graphical user interface (GUI) and the block diagram designed to communicate with the modules. The front panel GUI is easily customizable and the block diagrams can be modified to build more complex applications. Click here to learn more.

Connecting DGH Modules to Ethernet
The A3000 Serial to Ethernet converter connects an RS-232/422/485 serial port to a 10/100Base-T Ethernet network running TCP/IP. The serial to Ethernet converters provide an easy and economical way to monitor and control data from any location via the Internet.
The A3000 Serial to Ethernet converter easily connects DGH modules to the World Wide Web. It allows any host computer access to the serial port as a virtual COM port via an IP address. more details...

Continuous Digital Input/Output Application
The D1700 series modules may be setup in special modes which allow them to communicate without being polled by a host computer. Collectively these modes are called Continuous Input/Output Modes. In many applications the burden on the host may be greatly simplified and in some cases the host may be eliminated altogether. Three modes are available:
1. Timer Mode: In this mode, a software timer is activated in the module with the Continuous Timer (CT) command. The CT command specifies a time period that repeats indefinitely. After each timeout, the module will output the status data. The module will periodically output the digital input data until the continuous mode is disabled.
2. Edge-Trigger Mode: In this mode the D1711/1712 will output a data string when it receives a trigger signal on the B00/EV I/O Pin. The edge trigger mode will produce an output in response to an external event. It also provides a means of daisy-chaining several continuous output modules together.
3. Change Mode: In this mode the D1711/1712 continuously monitors the status of the I/O lines. If a change is detected in status, an output data message is initiated.
